Kent Curtis is Professor of Organizational Leadership.  Kent was one of the four original administrators when NKU commenced operations in 1970 as Northern Kentucky State College.   He is the last of this group to continue in a full-time capacity at NKU.  Dr. Curtis graduated from Centre College (AB in biology), Xavier ( masters in school administration and counseling), and University of Cincinnati (doctorate in adult technical education).

Kent led the team that developed the Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership.  He has co-authored 14 books in the leadership area.  His current research focuses on the teaching leader.
